Dressing for the Dust

Jeans: China town; Blue Top &  Shoes: Mr Price; Oversize Block Top: Pure; Bag: Sowearto; Sunglasses & Heart Necklace: Woolworths
This is a casual look from a recent work trip to Mpumalanga. When I’m dressing to really work, it usually means reaching for the most casual and comfortable clothes. My job often takes me to the most rural parts of Africa and we spend lots of time in the sun and, well, in the dirt. It’s no occasion for the good shoes.

When you’re building a good wardrobe, a big thing to consider is the nature of your job. Do you need more meeting-appropriate clothing like shirts and blazers? Do you wear a uniform and need very little ‘work clothes’? Your wardrobe should fit your lifestyle, so consider that before stocking up on dresses just because they’re pretty.

On another note, I’d like to thank these green skinnies – they still fit 🙂

Thank you for coming by. Have a super week!
