Neutral Makeup Faves

I’m enjoying neutral makeup lately. It’s fuss-free and easy. Here are a few of my current faves.

Smashbox Paradise Blush Rush
I like this blush for a little glow – slight shimmer on the cheeks.
Essence Barely There Longlasting Lipstick
Barely There is a good affordable nude. It’s creamy but not glossy. It’s also a darker nude, just a little darker than my natural lip colour. This is the one I grab when I’m rushing out of the house.
Mac Melba Matte Powder Blush
This is a great pink peach everyday blush, and goes with anything. It’s a true matte and doesn’t need heavy application. It always lasts for hours.
Nudestix Mystic Lip & Cheek Pencil
I tried this nudestix colour just recently and have used it often already. It’s a great break from my usual matte lipsticks as it’s much creamier but the colour lasts quite a while. It’s like a balm but with way better pigmentation. For use on the lips and cheeks, this is a great one.
Stage Line Brown Lip Liner
I just love this liner. It’s soft, applies easily and lasts for hours.
Stila Patina Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick
This is the prettiest dusty pink ever, and it really does stay all day. It’s a liquid lipstick that dries completely matte and plumps up my lips perfectly.
Wet ‘n Wild Bare It All Megalast Lip Colour
Bare It All may be one of my favourite nude lipsticks of all time. It has a great matte finish but it’s creamier than most. At R50, I highly recommend this.

Do you have any great neutrals you can’t go without?

  1. Stila, is one of my all time favs.
I looked high and love for Bare it All, after I saw an image of it on Pinterest. But when i finally found it, i was bummed, it was the exact colour of my lips. And not even a my lips, but better kind of shade.
Might try it with a lipliner 🙂
